“My husband and I really enjoy Deer Meadow Farmacy products for both ourselves and our pets. Over the past few years, we’ve chose Deer Meadow Farmacy to provide us with the best farm raised beef, chicken, eggs, and pork. We also love being on the delivery schedule for eggs as it is hassle free for us, and always delivered with a smile and a friendly conversation. Bella, Frankie and Kona REALLY enjoy their egg treats and chicken feet. For us, knowing these treats are made of simple, healthy ingredients makes them an easy choice for our pets.”

“ Our family has been purchasing products from Deer Meadow Farmacy for a few years and the quality and taste are unmatched! We started purchasing eggs and have since become repeat customers of their chickens, pork products and more. Everything we order has been exceptional! Taste aside we love supporting a small farm family. KL and Sean are the hardest working, friendliest, most caring people you will find. They invited us to come for a farm tour where we were blown away by the ethical living conditions of all the livestock and innovative ideas they are implementing to leave the smallest ecological footprint. From the turkeys lounging in the sun on the front deck to the pigs foraging freely in the backyard, this family farm makes you feel at home. If that's not reason enough to try their products here's one more. Deer Meadow Farmacy is so conscientious of feeding their animals the highest quality feed. Their products contain only wholesome ingredients, with no fillers! Our family navigates food allergies and they have been lifesavers for us!! Plus they deliver right to our front door, talk about service with a smile! We cannot rave enough about this farm family and their products!”

"What do I buy from you guys and what do I like and don't like? Well, for starters, there is nothing I don't like!! I love it all!! As for why from you guys? That is so easy... You, Sean, Joy, Jacob, Jack and June should be the poster family for the Canadian prairie!! If more people were like your family we would honestly live in the best place on earth!! The outgoing, friendly, honest and wholesome vibes that come from all of you is so heartwarming. The way you and Sean raise your kids by including them in everything on the farm and your commitment to not only using the earth but by replenishing it is truly inspiring. Your friendly demeanor and outgoing personalities make it a pleasure to see, talk and even text you guys and it has been instilled in your children. The products I buy from you are guys are simply the best there is... absolutely, positively!! It doesn't matter if it's beef, chicken, pork or eggs and soon (I hope) to include market veg and fruit. There is no place I would buy it from but you! Your farm to table business is second to none and I am truly blessed to not only know you but also to have been accepted into your farm family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ A heart for each of you!"

"When it comes to feeding my family I prioritize nourishing, nutrient-rich, preservative-free, whole and organic foods that we can feel good about eating: inside and out.
There is rarely a meal I prepare anymore that doesn’t include beef, pork, chicken or eggs from Dear Meadow Farmacy. I filled my freezer with their product this Fall and I have no regrets.
I cooked one of their chickens for Christmas this year for seven of us, and it was a huge hit! It was mainly all tender white meat, and had lots enough to feed us for the next couple of days.
Sean and KL Buckley are incredibly welcoming and open about their products. It is true local farm-to-table food when they keep an open-door relationship where you can regularly visit the animals while picking up fresh eggs.
I highly value their focus on sustainably raising their livestock through regenerative practices. I feel good about rendering tallow from their pasture-raised and grass-finished cattle as it retains Omega-3 fatty acid, as well as many vitamins and antioxidants.
I am already planning out my freezer space for next year!"

"For us at Deer Meadow Farmacy, our mission is to inspire a passion within our community to purchase food as a tool for sustainable health for themselves, their family, their pets, their environment and their local economy"
"Our vision is to continuously improve our beautiful self-sustaining oasis that produces nutrient dense food where consumers come and experience the positive impact their choices have on their environment."
Thank you for your interest in Deer Meadow Farms! We are a regenerative, permaculture-style family farm managed by caretakers Sean, Kristi-Lyn, Joy-Anna, Jacob, Jack and June Buckley.
Our goals are to provide locally available, ethically raised food that’s superior in flavour, health benefits and nutrient density. As well as provide positive ecological impacts and community education while raising it. We are open, transparent and connected with our customers and community. While maintaining this type of relationship we hope to be a beacon of alternative, regenerative agriculture- showcasing what can be possible by turning away from the conventional animal production models.
We raise animals according to nature’s cycles and principles, choosing to work with nature, instead of against it. Biodiversity is our overarching goal.
We strive to be a zero-waste farm, recycling or upcycling our own waste products as well as other waste products from the surrounding community to feed our soil and create food that is beyond food. It is medicine.
